Sleep touches almost everything you track: pain, mood, energy and blood sugar all shift after a short night. Log how you slept each morning and CareClinic can show how your nights shape your days.
Log last night
Do it within an hour of waking, while the night is still clear in your mind.
- Tap Check-in, then Sleep.
- Set your Time In Bed and Time Asleep with the minus and plus buttons.
- Rate your Sleep Quality by tapping a face, from Awful through Ok to Great.
- Same routine as last night? Tap Use This when CareClinic asks Same as last time?
Note what got in the way
The reason behind a bad night is often the part worth fixing.
Falling and staying asleep
Trouble falling asleep, Trouble staying asleep, Woke early, Nightmare.
What woke you
Woke due to noise, light, temperature or humidity.
What helped
Used CPAP, Used fan, Used blackout curtains, Completed sleep routine.
- On the Sleep screen, tap the tags that fit last night. The free plan lets you add a few tags, and CareClinic Premium removes the limit.
- Want to say more? Sleep notes asks What affected your sleep? On Android notes are free. On iPhone and iPad they are part of Premium.
- Tap Save Check-in to keep last night.
Let your watch or phone fill it in
If you already wear a watch or ring to bed, there is no need to type your sleep twice.
- Tap More, then Integrations.
- On Android, connect Health Connect and allow sleep. It is free.
- On iPhone, connect Apple Health and turn on Sleep. Syncing from Apple Health is part of CareClinic Premium.
- Synced nights appear on the Sleep tracker with your deep and REM sleep, ready for you to add quality and tags.
Read your sleep charts
One bad night tells you little. Two weeks of nights on a chart tells you whether your sleep is getting better.
- Tap Insights, then the Sleep chip, to see time asleep and quality side by side.
- Under Trends, Sleep Efficiency and Sleep Consistency show how steady your nights are.
- Compare Sleep with Mood or Symptoms to see how a short night carries into the next day.
Tip Struggling to wind down? Open More, then Pathways, then Sounds for soundscapes made for sleep.

Does CareClinic track sleep automatically?
It brings in the sleep your watch or phone already records, through Health Connect on Android or Apple Health on iPhone. You can always log a night by hand.
Can I keep a sleep diary for my doctor?
Yes. Your nights, quality ratings and tags land on the Timeline by date, so you can bring the last few weeks to an appointment.
