Health Records App: Conditions, Allergies, Labs and Appointments

CareClinic › Getting Started › Health Records

Every new doctor asks the same questions: what conditions you have and since when, what you are allergic to, which vaccines you have had. Keep the answers in CareClinic once and you will never have to dig for them in a waiting room again.

Choose the records you want

Each record type can be switched on or off, so CareClinic only shows what is useful to you.

  1. Tap More, then the gear icon beside Health Records.
  2. Switch on the records you need, such as Conditions, Allergies, Immunizations, Lab & Imaging, Appointments, Health Events, Genetics, Insurance and Care Team.
  3. Go back to More. The records you switched on appear under Health Records. If a record is hidden, use the link to view more records.

See Manage Records with the record types already switched on.

Add what doctors ask about

Conditions

Search for the condition and add the date you were diagnosed, even a rough month and year.

Allergies

Drug, food and environmental allergies, ready to show before any new prescription.

Immunizations

Past vaccines and the date your next booster is due.

Lab & Imaging

Results you can compare over time. The Lab Results guide covers them.

  1. In More, find Health Records, open a record such as Conditions, and add an entry.
  2. Fill in the details you know now and come back for the rest later.

Tip "When did this start?" is one of the first questions a new specialist asks. A diagnosis date, even an approximate one, saves a lot of guessing.

  1. Tap More, then the search icon at the top.
  2. Type a word like a medication, a condition or a doctor's name to search across your records.

Visits have their own guide: Appointments.

Common questions

Can I import my medical records from my hospital or clinic?

On iPhone, yes. Connect your hospital in the Apple Health app, then open More, Integrations, Import Records. Conditions, allergies, immunizations, lab results, medications and more come in together. The Import Medical Records guide walks through it. On Android, add each record by hand and upload the letter or report as a PDF in Documents.

Can I keep records for a family member?

Yes, through the Care Team. When a family member adds you as their caregiver and you accept, they appear under Dependents and you can follow their records within the access they gave you.

Do I have to use every record type?

No. Switch on only the records you need from the gear icon on More. You can turn the others on later without losing anything.

How is my health information protected?

Your records are stored in your CareClinic account over encrypted connections, and you decide who on your Care Team can see them. Read more on our data security page.
