Your Apple Watch is on your wrist when the reminder buzzes, so it is the quickest place to answer it. Mark a dose as taken, rate a symptom or log a glass of water without reaching for your phone.
Before you start
- CareClinic set up on your iPhone, with the reminders you want.
- The CareClinic app on your Apple Watch. If it is not there, open the Watch app on your iPhone, find CareClinic under Available Apps and tap Install.
Answer a reminder from your wrist
Reminders reach your watch like any iPhone notification. In the CareClinic Watch app, they also wait in their own list.
- Open CareClinic on your watch and tap Reminders.
- Tap a scheduled dose and mark it as taken, then save.
- It is marked on your phone too, on Today and in your history.
Log a quick check-in
The home grid on your watch follows the trackers you use on your phone. Tap one and log it in a couple of taps.
Medications
Mark a medication from your plan as taken.
Symptoms
Rate severity from 1 to 10, or None felt.
Mood
Rate your mood from 1 to 10.
Fluids
Log how much you drank.
Stool
Pick a Bristol type, or No movement.
Activity
Log how many minutes you were active.
When to switch to your iPhone
- Blood pressure, journal entries and assessments need more room, so the watch shows Continue on iPhone.
- An entry marked Pending is saved on your watch and reaches your phone the next time they connect.
Tip Keep your iPhone nearby and the CareClinic Watch app open for a moment after logging, and your entries confirm right away.
Common questions
Does CareClinic work on Apple Watch without my iPhone?
You can log on the watch while your iPhone is away. Entries show as Pending and reach your phone the next time the two connect.
